IMMUNE SYSTEM BOOSTER
This planet is not safe for anyone anymore and it is more dangerous for seniors. When you are 60, you might as well paint a bulls eye on your back because this is how certain companies and individuals see you. They expect you to not be sharp and if they are lucky, you live alone. This means you will answer the phone because you need someone to talk to. This is the beginning of your downfall. Scams for individuals 60 and older caused $3.4 billion in losses in 2023. As many as 1 in 5 seniors are victims every year.
You are actively targeted by other groups of people who want a piece of you. Some nursing homes will not take you until you give them your house. Medicaid will not take care of you until all your assets are gone. Life becomes more difficult because with every step you take, you are losing some of your life. You cannot stop the aging process but you can delay it and still maintain a relatively good standard of living without pain.
Here is a to do list for those of you who retire when you are 60 if you want to live another 30 –40 years:
1. Buy a computer if you do not have one. Get connected to the internet. This is how you check up on what is ailing you. Do not put your trust in doctors because they may not be operating in your best interest. It is YOUR job to make sure that they are doing their job well.
2. Stop smoking if you smoke. You cannot continue to smoke and expect to have a long life. Smoking broadcast a message, I am not that smart. Please take advantage of my ignorance.
3. You need to have a hobby to retire to. Do not wait until you retire to get this hobby. That might be too late. Your hobby needs to be developed while you are working.
4. Join a gym if you are not already a member. This will extend your life more than anything you can do if you do this right. This will lower your blood pressure and help with your immune system.
5. Family members will want you to take care of their children for free. Tell your family to get lost. This will drain you of your years even if you enjoy being with your grandchildren. Your wife might want to do this but do not allow this to bring you down.
6. Get your diet under control. Stop eating processed food. This is anything that is frozen in a package or anything in a can. Stop eating fast food.
7. If you are on medication, try to get off it. Many physicians will prescribe drugs for you that are not needed. I do not take any drugs and I am 76 years old..
8. If you still drive, you need to buy an automobile that has motion sensors. These sensors will tell you if someone is in your blind spot or if someone or something is behind you when you are backing up.
This is a good place to start. If you want to know how I was able to lift those heavy weights in the above video without breaking a sweat, call me and I will help you to make a plan for a better version of the Golden Years.
